Our open motto "Les Soeurs Fidels" (aka "The Faithful Sisters"), is something we try to live out every day. Sisterhood is not only about being there for one another and creating a lasting bond, but also about learning to overcome our differences to embrace our uniqueness, and really becoming a family. Our sisterhood chair, Isa Alonso, works to create at least one or more "sisterhood events" per month, like going to a movie, planning a dinner, trips to the apple orchard, tie-dying t shirts, or attending Transy campus events as a group. She also organizes a big Sisterhood Retreat that consists of a night spent together crafting, playing games, snacking, and deepening our bond through sharing our experiences and stories about other sisters and our time in Phi Mu. In addition, each member also meets with Isa or another member of her Sisterhood committee once a semester to talk about strengths, struggles, and their experience in Phi Mu.
